#9 - Mother's Day

This week for our challenge we want you to make MOTHER'S DAY cards.  Your cards must be vintage, shabby chic or primitive.

Join us in welcoming a new sponsor, Nana Vic's Digital Stamps.

Nana Vic’s Digitals is heading towards it’s second year as an online digital store and it brings me much joy to create images with a young at heart flavour. I can’t really say that I have one particular style as I tend to draw as the mood strikes me, one day it could be my favourite oldies ‘Nana Vic’ or her good friend ‘Mr Jones’ and the next day it could be pretty flowers.

It is my hope that my illustrations will inspire your creative spirits and they will be used for many years to come in your handmade projects. Best of Luck to all that enter this challenge and a special thank you to Sugar Creek Hollow for giving me this opportunity to sponsor them.

*Hugs* Nana Vic

Nana Vic is providing a $10 gift voucher to her online store for one random winner. The random winner will also receive a winner's badge to display. The Design Team will also choose their Top Pick and the creator will also receive a winner's badge to display and will be in therunning for a monthly Guest Designer spot.

Our designers have made some lovely inspiration for you using Nana Vic's vintage looking images.

#7 - Die Cuts or Punches

It is time for a new challenge at Sugar Creek Hollow and this week we want you to make vintage, shabby chic or primitive cards with DIE CUTS OR PUNCHES. You can use one or the other or even both, if you wish.

Please welcome a new sponsor, Sassy Cheryl. If you haven't visited her shop, run don't walk right over there because she has just the most fun images. Many of them are wonderfully quirky and there are quite a few that work well with a primitive style and even some that have a vintage feel to them.

Hello everyone. Sassy Cheryl here and I'm so happy to be sponsoring the Sugar Creek Hollow challenge this week. I have been creating illustrations for around ten years and have the pleasure of licensing my work to companies such as Kohl's, Hobby Lobby and Shopko, along with many other companies for around seven years. I absolutely LOVE what I do and really enjoy seeing the amazing cards and creations that my customer create with my images. I can't wait to see what you all create this week and hope that you will play along with the talented Sugar Creek Hollow design team this week! Happy Saturday!

One random winner this week will receive a $5 gift certificate to Sassy Cheryl's store and a winner's badge from Sugar Creek Hollow to display. The Design Team will choose one project as their Top Pick and the creator will receive a badge to display and will be in the running for a monthly Guest Designer spot.

Our designers have created some wonderful inspiration for you with Sassy Cheryl's images and some cards are on the vintage side while some are on the more primitive side.

Sadly we are saying goodbye this week to one of our designers, Peggy Marsh, who has decided to step down and will be missed.
